I’ve always had a notebook to write my thoughts, collect “quotable quotes,” write poems, and pour my heart.
When I first heard The Cranberries’ song “Ridiculous Thoughts,” I was obsessed. Dolores O’Riordan was a shero, and those lyrics she wrote to vent her anger and frustration.
I started to use “Ridiculous Thoughts” as the title for all of my private “diaries.” It was my way to say, “Yes, what I write might be unreasonable, nonsensical, and absurd, but I honor it.”
And now I’m sharing my ridiculous thoughts here. Writing them is my daily practice. It reminds the judgmental part of me to embrace and accept all thoughts rather than mock and criticize them.
I’ve discovered that what might seem ridiculous can often be what leads us to our purpose. Is there anything ridiculous you are willing to embrace?

I always think my thoughts are too deep. It's hard to reach them, one must have adequate oxygen to dive that far into the deep dark abyss of my sea of thoughts... but on paper they flow like droplets of water being consumed into delicate paper.
